Malcheski Selected WIAC Volleyball Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh outside hitter Katelyn Malcheski was named the WIAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the period of Oct. 14-20.

Malcheski averaged nearly four kills per set as UW-Oshkosh (19-8/4-2 WIAC) went unbeaten in five matches, including a 3-1 victory over 20th-ranked UW-Whitewater on Oct. 16.

Malcheski totaled 73 kills, 11 digs and four solo blocks in the 19 sets. She had 17 kills, four digs and two solo blocks during the Titans' home win over UW-Whitewater.

Competing at the Loras College (Iowa) Invitational on Oct. 18-19, Malcheski received all-tournament honors after compiling 56 kills, seven digs and two solo blocks.

Malcheski had 18 kills in UW-Oshkosh's 3-1 victory over Clarke University (Iowa) and 15 during the Titans' 3-2 triumph over Loras College. She hit .429 with 14 kills in UW-Oshkosh's 3-0 sweep of William Penn University (Iowa).
