Bostwick Receives WIAC Player Of The Week Award

UW-Oshkosh's Emily Bostwick (Jr. • Whitefish Bay) has been chosen as the WIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance in matches held Oct. 4-10.

Bostwick defeated both of her opponents at No. 2 singles as UW-Oshkosh lost 6-3 to UW-Eau Claire and ousted UW-Stout, 8-1.

In UW-Oshkosh's road loss to UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 8, Bostwick shutout the Blugolds' Taylor Heltne, 6-0, 6-0.

In Titans' road win over UW-Stout on Oct. 9, Bostwick topped the Blue Devils' Abby Werwie, 6-2, 6-1.

Bostwick has won seven of her nine contests at No. 2 singles this season.

Sydney Divelbiss and Annie Smith of UW-Whitewater were named the WIAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.
