Titans Fall In De Pere To Green Knights

DE PERE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving team dropped a 133-103 decision to St. Norbert College in De Pere on Saturday (Nov. 18).

Both the 200-yard medley and freestyle relay squads took second, racing a 1:53.96 and 1:46.56, respectively.

Francesca Schiro (Jr. • New Glarus) finished first in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events. She finished the 50-yard in a season-best 25.25 and the 100-yard in 53.97, tying her team season best.

Also grabbing first-place finishes were Bella Cichon (Fr. • Manhattan, Ill.) with a 1:10:38 in the 100-yard breaststroke and Abbi Priestley (So. • Neenah) with a pool record performance of 443.05 in the 1-meter diving.

Other top-three finishers for the Titans included Amanda Richards (Jr. • Waterford) with a second place, 1:02.90 time in the 100-yard backstroke, Brianna Wesenberg (So. • Ripon), who took second with a 2:05.18 finish in the 200-yard freestyle, Sienna Della-Peruta (Fr. • Grayslake, Ill.) with a 2:24.83, third place time in the 200-yard IM, Mara Amley (Fr. • Haslett, Mich.), who finished third in the 500-yard freestyle and Brianna Smith (Sr. • Waterford), who grabbed third in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:34.84).

The Titans return to action on Nov. 30 for the three-day Carthage College Classic.
