Titans Start Strong at Weekend Classic

KENOSHA, Wis.—Several Titans recorded season best times as the UW-Oshkosh Titans concluded action on day one of the Carthage Classic.

Francesca Schiro grabbed runner-up honors in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 24.75 and nearly broke the school record. Schiro reset her season best time in the 50 freestyle.

Cadence Showalter, Schiro, Brianna Wesenberg, and Brianna Smith placed fifth in the 200 freestyle relay, clocking in at 1:41.63. In the 400 medley relay, Grace Fergus, Wesenberg, Showalter, and Schiro finished in fourth with a time of 4:11.01.

Showalter competed in the 500 freestyle, nearly breaking the school record. Showalter timed in at 5:15.65 for a new season best time.

Smith and Wesenberg raced in the 500 freestyle for the Titans, clocking in at 5:27.67 and 5:28.80 respectively. Angela Satterlee timed in at 6:27.20 for the Titans in the 500 freestyle. All three Titans recorded season best times.

Action resumes at 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 in Kenosha for the Titans.
