Four Titans Earn First Place Finishes Against Warhawks

WHITEWATER, Wis.—Four Titans grabbed first place finishes as the UW-Oshkosh women's swimming and diving program fell 167-87 to the UW-Whitewater Warhawks.

Finding her groove, Francesca Schiro recorded a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle, timing in at 2:00.61. Schiro's time was a season best and marked her third consecutive dual meet with a first-place finish.

Brianna Smith took home top honors in the 1000 freestyle, timing in at 12:07.88. Smith claimed the top spot in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:53.01 and a season best time.

Brianna Wesenberg, the WIAC swimmer of the week, took home the top spot in the 200 butterfly, clocking in at 2:32.09. Wesenberg took home second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:07.26.

Cadence Showalter took home second-place in the 50 freestyle, clocking in at 26.44. Showalter finished second in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:52.88.

Schiro took home runner-up honors in the 100 freestyle, timing in at 54.56 and a season best time.

The Titans went 1-2-3 in the 1-meter diving, as Abbi Priestley led the way with a score of 241.40. Maya Indiraraj scored 207.30 and Gia Migliorese scored a 167.75. In 3-meter diving, Priestley led the way with a score of 272.76, a season-best score. Indiraraj scored 207.10 on the 3-meter boards.

Schiro, Wesenberg, Showalter, and Smith took third in the 200 Medley Relay, timing in at 2:00.41. The Titans (Schiro, Showalter, Wesenberg, Smith) would combine for a time of 1:45.07 in the 200 freestyle relay, taking second place. Both relays were season best times for the Titans.

The Titans are set to take to the pool at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational on Nov. 12.
