Titans Earn Top Honors at Carroll
WAUKESHA, Wis.—Grace Fergus was one of several first place finishes for the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's swimming and diving program as the UW-Oshkosh Titans fell to Carroll University, 107-82.
Cadence Showalter collected top honors in the 200 freestyle, timing in at 2:04.94.
Francesca Schiro led the Titans in the 100 freestyle at 54.99 and first place, while Showalter swam a 57.94 for runner-up honors.
Brianna Smith was the runner-up in the 1650 freestyle, timing in at 20:34.75. Fellow Titan Angela Satterlee finished in third at 22:50.35.
Grace Fergus represented the Titans in the 100 backstroke, claiming the top spot at 1:07.20.
Brianna Wesenberg grabbed the top spot in the 100 butterfly, timing in at 1:06.24. Wesenberg swam a season-best in the 100 fly, beating her season-opening mark by a second. Wesenberg grabbed the top spot in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:16.39.
Schiro took runner-up honors in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 25:53.
Smith was the top swimmer in the 500 freestyle, clocking in at 5:53.16.
The Titan women took home first in the 400 medley relay, finishing three seconds ahead of their Pioneers of Carroll at 4:22.97.
The Titans return to action on Nov. 5 as they travel to UW-Whitewater.
