Titans Compete at Wisconsin College Showcase
BROWN DEER, Wis.—Several Titans took home top-8 finishes as the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's swimming and diving team competed at the Wisconsin College Showcase.
Francesca Schiro took home a pair of top-8 finishes in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Schiro timed in at 55.56 in the 100 freestyle and a time of 25.39 in the 50 freestyle. Schiro grabbed a top-8 time in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.96.
Cadence Showalter raced in the 500 freestyle for a top-8 finish with a time of 5:32.07. Showalter swam to a time of 1:04.39 in the 100 butterfly. Showalter grabbed a top-15 time in the 200 IM, timing in at 2:23.49.
Grace Fergus competed in the 50 freestyle, clocking in at 27.99. Fergus clocked in at 1:07.75 in the 100 backstroke and at 2:27.44 in the 200 backstroke.
Abbi Priestley took third in the 1-meter diving boards with a score of 228.68. Maya Indiraraj and Lexi Johnson competed in the 1-meter board, with scores of 152.4 and 124.13. Priestley led the Titans in the 3-meter boards with a score of 227.18 while Indiraraj finished with a score of 154.35.
Brianna Wesenberg raced in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:01.11. With a time of 1:17.16 in the 100 breastroke, Wesenberg represented the Titans in the event. Grabbing a time of 5:14.13, Wesenberg swam in the 400 IM for the Titans.
Brianna Smith raced to a time of 2:10.75 in the 200 freestyle. Smith raced in the 500 freestyle to a time of 5:57.63.
In relay action, Showalter, Schiro, Smith, and Fergus teamed up for a top-8 time in the 400 freestyle relay, combining for a time of 3:52.99. Fergus, Wesenberg, Showalter, and Angela Satterlee swam a time of 2:00.61 in the 200 medley relay.
