Pointers Oust Visiting Titans

Bailey Schroeder won the 1-meter diving to lead UW-Oshkosh during its 147-24 loss to the UW-Stevens Point women's swimming & diving team on Friday (Jan. 14) in Stevens Point.

Schroeder tallied 235.35 points off the 1-meter board to edge the second-place score of 231.75 earned by UW-Stevens Point's Claire Neuberger. Schroeder also finished second in the 3-meter diving with 215.95 points.

Corrina Winkler placed second in a pair of freestyle events for the Titans. She swam to a time of 28.87 seconds at 50 yards and 1:02.41 at 100.

UW-Oshkosh's Emma Hall contributed a third-place time of 1:05.70 in the 100-yard backstroke.

The Titans competed in the meet with a limited roster due to COVID-19 protocols.

UW-Oshkosh's contest against Carthage College on Saturday (Jan. 15) in Albee Hall has been canceled. The Titans are scheduled to host UW-La Crosse on Jan. 22 in their next meet.
