Cunningham Chosen As WIAC Swimmer Of The Week
UW-Oshkosh's Hannah Cunningham was selected as the WIAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for events held Jan. 21-27.
Cunningham won the 100-yard freestyle, finished third in the 50-yard freestyle and swam on a first-place 400-yard freestyle relay team during UW-Oshkosh's 110-101 home victory over Iowa Central Community College on Jan. 26.
Cunningham posted a winning time of 57.25 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle to defeat her challengers. She also recorded a third-place time of 26.54 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle while helping Sydney Challoner, Rachel Jaworski and Alexandra Schuster register a winning time of 3:51.18 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
UW-Eau Claire's Sarah Dahlk was named the WIAC's Women's Diving Athlete of the Week.
