Titans Fall To Duhawks At Home

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh and Loras College (Iowa) women's soccer teams, faced off on Wednesday (Sept. 27) at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium, resulting in a 3-0 defeat for the Titans.

The Titans (1-6-3) struggled to find shots in the game. Kate Whitney struck the ball in the 53rd minute and Anna Zenz recorded a shot on goal in the 81st minute.

The Duhawks (8-1) recorded 17 shots in the match, and all three goals came from Savannah Johnson. Her first came in the 24th minute, assisted by Hannah Schmitz. Both of her other goals were scored in the 75th minute, assisted by Emerson Gasmann and Reagan Lindsay.

On defense for the Titans, goalkeeper Emma Sauriol ended the game with six saves in total.

The Titans will return to action on Saturday (Sept. 30) as they head into conference play against UW-La Crosse for Vamos Titans Night.
