Titans And Britons Battle To Tie In Michigan

ALBION, Mich.- The UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team traveled to Albion College (Mich.) on Saturday (Sept. 23) for their second game in Michigan in the last two days.

The Titans (1-5-3) and Britons (3-1-4) both scored goals in the last three minutes, with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.

UWO shot 11 times with seven shots on goal and held Albion to 12 shots and seven on goal. UWO held a slim advantage on corner kicks with five against Albion's three.

Towards the end of full time, Molly Jackson found Rylie Kaufman for her third goal of the season in the 88th minute for the only lead either team had in the game. Shortly after, Briton Abby Rose would find Ella Jeske to score the final goal in the 89th minute.

Emma Sauriol ended the game with six saves while being in goal for the Titans for all 90 minutes of the game.

The Titans will return to action on Wednesday (Sept. 27) against Loras College, this will be the last nonconference game before the Titans head into conference play.
