Clark Nabs Brace as Titans Shutout St. Norbert

OSHKOSH, Wis.--Alayna Clark earned her first collegiate brace as the UW-Oshkosh Titans cruised to a 4-0 victory over the St. Norbert College Green Knights on Monday evening.

Starting the Titans off, Molly Jackson scored in the 21st minute of play, on an assist from Alexia Poulos. Poulos has recorded back-to-back assists for the Titans, recording one against Stout on Oct. 8.

Clark doubled the Titans lead in the 37 minute of play, sending the ball past the Green Knights keeper. Clark caught a pass from Gabby Born in the 72nd minute of play to put the Titans up by three.

The Titans offense pushed through the Green Knights defense quickly, adding the final goal of the day from Greta Steines in the 73rd minute. Steines would connect with Anika Roush to seal the victory for the Titans.

Maris Heun got her first collegiate start of the year, having seen action in all games for the Titans.

Emma Sauriol collected four saves in the match as she recorded her second shutout of the season.

The Titans had 11 shots on target, while the Green Knights had four shots on target.

The Titans return to J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. as they host UW-Platteville for Play-for-a-Cause.
