Stein Scores Lone Goal for Titans
OSHKOSH, Wis.—Mackenzie Stein put the Titans on the board early, scoring in the ninth minute of action as the UW-Oshkosh Titans fell 2-1 on Senior Night to UW-Eau Claire.
Stein was the Titans first shot of the evening and scored her second goal of the season.
The Titans kept the defensive pressure steady as the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds fired 17 shots in the game. The Blugolds entered the score line late in the first half, tying the game at one before the break. The Blugolds scored the second goal of the evening in the 54th minute of play.
The Titans registered nine shots in the game, with five on target. In goal for the Titans, Mallory Kerhin nabbed six saves.
The Titans hit the road for a pair of conference matches, starting with UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 5.
