Muzi Named WIAC's Soccer Defensive Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh goalkeeper Nina Muzi was voted the WIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for matches held Oct. 20-26.

Muzi saved four shots to record her seventh shutout of the season during UW-Oshkosh's 1-0 overtime victory over UW-La Crosse on Oct. 25.

Muzi recorded two saves against the Eagles in each half. The performance lowered her goals against average on the year to 0.63, second best in the WIAC.

Forward Caroline Henderson of UW-Eau Claire was recognized as the WIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
