Walder Selected WIAC Defensive Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh goalkeeper Brittany Walder (Jr. • Waukesha) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 25-31.

Walder recorded her third and fourth shutouts of the season as UW-Oshkosh (9-7-1) defeated St. Norbert College on Oct. 27 and UW-River Falls on Oct. 30.

Walder saved two shots during UW-Oshkosh's 3-0 road victory over St. Norbert College and three shots in the Titans' 1-0 home win over UW-River Falls. Her performance against UW-River Falls helped UW-Oshkosh qualify for the six-team WIAC Tournament.

The WIAC chose midfielder Emily Gerber of UW-Whitewater as its Offensive Player of the Week.
