The Pioneers went to intermission leading 3-0 on unassisted goals by Allie Metcalfe and Caitlin Freeman in the 34th (33:12) and 44th minute (43:39) of action, respectively. Metcalfe's goal was the 35th of her career, a new UW-Platteville record.

UW-Platteville changed the score in the second half on goals by Sarah Eck, Anna Strasser and Whittney Dolley. Eck scored on a long breakaway run in the 49th minute (48:51), while Strasser scored off a pass from Sarah Miller in the 63rd minute (62:31) and Dolley off a serve from Karen Bublitz in the 87th (86:25).

UW-Oshkosh (3-6-1/0-4-1 WIAC) totaled 10 shots, including three by Caitlin Casey (Sr. • Waukesha) and two by Kelsey Spaith (Jr. • Madison). Nikki Reed (Jr. • Muskego) was one of five players attempting one shot for the Titans.

UW-Platteville launched 15 shots, with 12 of them being on goal. The Pioneers were led by the six shots of Eck, three by Strasser and two by Metcalfe.

UW-Oshkosh had Brittany Walder (Jr. • Waukesha) and Katie Berkopec (Fr. • Apple Valley, Minn.) guard its goal. Walder allowed four goals and saved four shots in 48:51 of duty, while Berkopec yielded two goals and saved two shots in 41:09.
