Titans Register Third-Highest Score In Program History

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The UW-Oshkosh women's gymnastics team registered the third-highest score in program history with a 192.925 at the Bowling Green University (Ohio) Triangular at the Stroh Center on Sunday (Feb. 4).

The Titans competed against the NCAA Division I Falcons and the Chippewas of Central Michigan University in the meet.

UW-Oshkosh scored 48.075 points on the balance beam, 48.000 points on the floor exercise, recorded 48.275 points on the vault and ended the uneven bars with a score of 48.575.

Lydia Hayden (So. • Broomfield, Colo.) led the Titans on the balance beam with a score of 9.800 points, which was good for a fourth-place finish. Anna Zoromski (Sr. • Wausau) recorded a 9.675 and Liz Romano (Jr. • Royersford, Pa.) scored 9.650 points.

On the floor exercise, Reanna McGibboney (So. • Chester Springs, Pa.) grabbed a top-eight spot with 9.775 points, followed by Emily Buffington (Sr. • Huntersville, N.C.) with a 9.725 and Jay Ratkowski (Fr. • Franklin), who scored 9.700 points.

Mia Lucero finished with a first-place, 9.850-point score on the vault, while McGibboney and Zoromski registered 9.750 and 9.675 points.

Buffington scored 9.800 points for third place on the uneven bars and was joined in the top-eight by McGibboney, who recorded 9.725 points. Kaylie Berens (Sr. • Golden, Colo.) and Sam Zeilinger (Jr. • Wheaton, Ill.) both turned in 9.700-point performances.

The Titans will head to St. Peter, Minn. to face off against Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday (Feb. 10) at 1 p.m.
