Two Event Wins Earns Lucero WIAC x Kwik Trip Gymnast Of The Week

MADISON, Wis.- Mia Lucero earned her first career WIAC x Kwik Trip Women's Gymnastics Athlete of the Week nod with two wins against Hamline University (Minn.) on Jan. 5.

Lucero (Jr. • Bolingbrook, Ill.) won both the vault and floor exercise in the Titans' 190.875-176.625 win over Hamline University (Minn.) on Jan. 5. She scored 9.725 points on the vault, her second-highest score, and a 9.675 in her first career outing on the floor.
