Free Student Tickets Available For NCGA Championship

The UW-Oshkosh Division of Student Affairs is providing free tickets for UW-Oshkosh, UW-Fond du Lac & UW-Fox Valley students to attend Saturday's (March 23) National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championship in Kolf Sports Center.

Students can secure their free ticket for the 4 p.m. event by stopping by the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Office in Kolf Sports Center. Students must present a valid student ID in order to receive a ticket (one ticket per student). Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

UW-Oshkosh, which is hosting the championship for the first time, will compete against Ithaca College (N.Y.), State University of New York at Brockport, State University of New York at Cortland, UW-Stout and two-time defending champion UW-Whitewater for this year's women's title.

In addition to the six team contestants, Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.), Hamline University (Minn.), Rhode Island College, Springfield College (Mass.), UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, Ursinus College (Pa.) and Winona State University (Minn.) will also have individual representation at the championship.

Tickets for the championship will be sold Friday (March 22) from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Office in Kolf Sports Center. Tickets will also go on sale Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens (62 & older) and $6 for college students with ID and youths aged 3-18. Children aged 2 and younger are free.

The first 200 spectators to attend the championship will receive a free NCGA wrist strap key holder courtesy of University Books & More.
