Tyler Cassmeyer was named the seventh head women's golf coach in UW-Oshkosh history on Friday (August 11), as announced by Assistant Chancellor, Athletics Darryl Sims following a national search.

"We are thrilled to have Tyler join Titan Athletics," Sims said on Friday. "He brings a new perspective on the sport of golf and is committed to building a highly competitive team."

Cassmeyer graduated from Lindenwood University (Mo.) in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and minors in Nutrition and Coaching. An NCAA Division II baseball student-athlete at Lindenwood, he was the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Freshman of the Year and an All-MIAA Second Team member in 2018. In 2021, he also earned Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors.

"I am honored to be the head women's golf coach at UW-Oshkosh and am excited to bring my unique style of coaching to Titan Athletics," Cassmeyer noted. "I would like to thank both Darryl Sims and Abby Gildernick for the opportunity to join this historic program and look forward to competing for UW-Oshkosh's next national championship."

Cassmeyer began his duties on August 11.
