Endres Shoots Career Low At Gustie Spring Invite

HASTINGS, Minn.- Taryn Endres shot a career low score of 159 strokes at the Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) Gustie Spring Invite on Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14).

The UW-Oshkosh women's golf team finished in seventh with 692 total strokes (116-over par).

Endres (So. • DeForest) finished Saturday's 18-hole round with a career best 79 strokes and registered just 80 strokes on Sunday with four total birdies and 17 pars. She also led the field, shooting -3 on par 5's to finish the Titans' first meet of the spring season in a tie for fifth with 159 total strokes (15-over par), the best place a Titan took this season. St. Olaf College's (Minn.) Bergen Senf also took fifth with 80 strokes on Saturday and 79 on Sunday.

Josie Hofer (Jr. • Menominee, Mich.) took a top-25 spot with 170 strokes (26-over par), while Alyssa Dreher (Sr. • Campbellsport) shot a 180 (36-over par) for 44th, Hailey Matenaer finished 47th with 183 strokes (39-over par) and Kylie Herrin took 50th with 186 strokes (42-over par).

Bethel University (Minn.) shot 61-over par (637 total strokes) to win the team title, led by Laura Beltman, who won the individual title with 153 strokes (9-over par).

The Titans will head to Riverside Golf Course in Janesville for the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite on Friday and Saturday (April 19-20).
