Titans win Four Matches on Day One of Match Play

BERLIN, Wis.—The UW-Oshkosh Titans women's golf squad won four of the five matches against Marian University on the first day of Titan Match Play competition.

Alyssa Dreher, Taryn Endres, Lauryn Davis, and Ava Downie won their matches against their competitor from Marian University.

In individual competitions, Hailey Matenaer defeated Isa Zuniga-Meyer (UW-Stevens Point) and Kylie Herrin defeated Sarah Lach (Marian University).

A reminder for match play rules: For a team to win, they need to win 3 of the 5 matches.

Individuals not in the team match play will be paired up in matches.

Action will resume on April 16 at 8:15 a.m. for a shotgun start. Golfers will play nine holes at the Mascoutin Golf Course.
