Priebe Chosen For WIAC Golfer Of The Week Award

UW-Oshkosh's Kayla Priebe has been named the WIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the third time this season.

Priebe earned her latest award for events held September 26 - October 2. She previously received the recognition for the periods of August 29 - September 4 and September 19-25.

Priebe ranked second by just one stroke to help UW-Oshkosh finish second at the Mad Dawg Invitational held October 1-2 in Iola.

Priebe totaled 158 strokes (12-over-par) by posting 18-hole scores of 80 strokes on the first day of competition and 78 on the second.

Viterbo University's Danielle Ducklow nipped Priebe for the individual title with 157 strokes while the V-Hawks' Bailey Schmidt placed third among the tournament's 63 golfers with 160.

Viterbo University captured the team title with 657 strokes (73-over-par). UW-Oshkosh earned second place in the 11-team event with 662 strokes and UW-Whitewater third with 670.
