Paul Honored On All-WIAC First Team

McKenzie Paul became the first Titan in six years to be named to the All-WIAC Women's Golf Team.

Paul was extremely consistent, posting a scoring average of 80.2. She scored above 83 just once in 10 rounds.

At the WIAC Championship, Paul earned fourth place with a 54-hole total of 244. It was UW-Oshkosh's top individual finish since 2006.

Paul's best tournament of the season was the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic, where she carded a pair of 77s for the victory. Paul also won the UW-Oshkosh Invitational and a dual meet against St. Norbert College.

The remaining members of the All-WIAC First Team were UW-Eau Claire's Kate Engler and Emily Stone, UW-Stout's Brittany McNett-Emmerich and UW-Stevens Point's McKenna Prestigiacomo.

Engler received the Player of the Year award, while UW-Stout had Howie Samb chosen Coach of the Year and Alex Westman the Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Seven players were voted to the All-Sportsmanship Team, including the Titans' Sarah Sheldon.

UW-Oshkosh finished fourth in the team standings at the 2013 WIAC Championship.
