Paul Named WIAC Golfer Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's McKenzie Paul was selected as the WIAC Women's Golfer of the Week after winning the individual title at the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic held Sept. 20-21 in Delavan.

Totaling 77 shots on each day of competition, Paul finished the 36-hole tournament with a score of 154. It was the third straight first-place finish for Paul, who took medalist honors against St. Norbert College on Aug. 31 and at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on Sept. 7-8.

Carthage College's McKenzie Parks ranked second with 155 strokes and Taylor Dory and Erin Holst third with 157.

Carthage College captured the team title with 653 strokes, while the University of St. Francis (Ill.) finished second with 660. UW-Whitewater placed third in the 12-team meet with 664 strokes, UW-Oshkosh fourth with 685 and Trine University (Ind.) fifth with 691.
