UW-Oshkosh Sponsors Free Student Bus To Sweet Sixteen

UW-Oshkosh is providing a free bus trip for students wishing to attend the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament game against UW-Whitewater on Friday (March 14) in Greencastle, Ind.

The bus will depart from the Pearl Avenue entrance of Kolf Sports Center at 7 a.m. on Friday and return to Oshkosh following the 4 p.m. contest. The trip includes game ticket, a box lunch and pizza after the game.

The first 55 UW-Oshkosh students to visit the athletics office (Kolf Sports Center) and show their student ID will receive a seat on the bus. Reservations will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday (March 11) on a first-come, first-served basis and continue through noon on Thursday. A minimum of 30 people is required.

If UW-Oshkosh defeats UW-Whitewater, the Titans will play DePauw University (Ind.) or Carthage College on Saturday in Greencastle for the right to advance to the Final Four.

Another fan bus is scheduled to make the trip for Saturday's 7 p.m. game. The bus will depart from the Pearl Avenue entrance of Kolf Sports Center at 9 a.m.

For Saturday's contest, the first 55 UW-Oshkosh students in line at the Pearl Avenue entrance of Kolf Sports Center by 8:45 a.m. will also receive a ticket, box lunch and pizza after the game. The bus returns to Oshkosh following the contest.

No alcohol or weapons will be allowed on the bus.
