Nemetz Claims WIAC x Kwik Trip Pitcher Of The Week

MADISON, Wis.- Across three starts for the UW-Oshkosh softball team last week, Sydney Nemetz added three wins to her record and struck out 30 on her way to WIAC x Kwik Trip Softball Pitcher of the Week, her third honor of the season.

Nemetz (Jr. • Marinette) threw three wins for the Titans last week across 16.0 innings with 30 strikeouts and two runs allowed on 11 hits and six walks for a 0.88 ERA. She fanned nine at Milwaukee School of Engineering on April 16, eight at UW-Whitewater on April 17, and 13 against UW-River Falls on April 20. Her only runs allowed came against the Warhawks on a single and a sacrifice fly in the 13-2 five-inning victory. Nemetz improved to 12-0 on the season.
