Nemetz Earns Second WIAC x Kwik Trip Pitcher Of The Week Of Season

MADISON, Wis.- With a 3-0 week in Florida, Sydney Nemetz was named the WIAC x Kwik Trip Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 25-31. This is her second honor of the season and fourth of her career.

Nemetz (Jr. • Marinette) improved her season record to 8-0 with three complete game wins at THE Spring Games in Clermont, Fla., during the week. She threw the 13th no-hitter in program history against Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on March 25 in her first start of the week, striking out five batters and allowing just one walk. Nemetz then struck out a career high 16 against Union College (N.Y.) on March 26, and eight against Colby College (Maine) on March 28, allowing five hits and one run across the two appearances.
