Titans Race In Red Hawk Invite
RIPON, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team took third in the Ripon College Red Hawk Invite on Thursday (Nov. 2), collecting 66 points.
Ahead of UW-Oshkosh was UW-Stevens Point with 17 points and Ripon with 51.
Pointer Zach Brandenburg won the individual title with a 26:50.29 finish.
Brady Lewis (Fr. • Cedarburg) led the Titans with a sixth-place finish in 27:36.95. Nate Gindt (Fr. • North Fond du Lac) paced the other four point producers for Oshkosh with an 11th-place finish in 28:10.64. Evan Peterson (Fr. • Gillett) in 12th at 28:13.21, Alex Bernhardt (Fr. • Appleton) in 18th at 29:29.61 and Zach Osmanski (So. • Carpentersville, Ill.) in 19th at 30:46.93 also contributed points.
The Titans' sixth runner was Owen Siebert (Fr. • Kimberly), who ran the 8,000-meter course in 32:56.62 for 20th place.
