Titan Men Get Top Ten Finish in Northfield

NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team finish in sixth place in the NCAA Division III North Regional on Saturday, hosted by St. Olaf College (Minn.). Oshkosh finished in sixth of 28 ranked teams, with 178 points.

Steven Potter was the Titans' top finisher, taking 12th overall with a time of 24:55.2.

Oshkosh had two more top-50 finishers; Joe Kehoe taking 21st place with a time of 25:20.3 and Jake Krause finishing in 25:21.9 and taking 23rd.

Other Titans that raced Saturday were Paul Proteau, Cameron Cullen, Joe Hertel and Jason Ford. Proteau finished 58thwith a time of 25:57.3, Cullen 66th in 26:06.2, Hertel 92nd in 26:34.2 and Ford 94th in 26:36.7.

The Titans will wait for a potential at large bid in the NCAA Division III national championship selection show, which airs Sunday on NCAA.com. 32 teams will be selected for the championship. 10 will automatically qualify (one per region, from regional championships) while the remaining 22 will be picked at large.
