Krause Leads UWO at Jim Drews
LA CROSSE, Wis.—Jake Krause led the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's cross country squad at the Jim Drews Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse, as the Titans finished third in the team standings.
Krause clocked into the top-20 with a time of 25:35.4, a season-best by 14 seconds.
Joe Kehoe paced himself to a time of 25:37.8, a season-best time by nearly 20 seconds.
Fellow Titan Steven Potter ran a 25:41.4, while Paul Proteau claimed a time of 26:03.3 in the race. Potter's time was a season-best, one of several by the Titans squad.
Cameron Cullen clocked in at 26:10 for the Titans, rounding out the top-5 for UWO. Joe Hertel and John Thill also competed for the Titans, with times of 26:13.5 and 26:22.4 respectively.
The Titans return to action on Oct. 21 as they compete in Whitewater.
