Regionally Ranked Titans Set for Gene Davis Invite

OSHKOSH, Wis.—The season rolls along for the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's cross country team as they are set to compete at the Gene Davis Invitational, hosted by Lawrence University on Oct. 8. The men's race is slated to begin at 12 p.m. in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The Titans have seen strong outings from veterans Jason Ford, Steven Potter, and Paul Proteau this season.

Ford was the highest finisher for the Titans as they competed at the St. Olaf Invitational on Sept. 17 with a top-5 finish.

Potter, led the Titans at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Sept. 30 with a time of 25:43.12 and was a top-5 finisher at St. Olaf. Proteau has been one of the top-5 finishers for the Titans, shaving nearly two minutes of his time between meets.

The Titans are ranked seventh in the North Region, according to USTFCCCA.
