NCAA Championship To Include UW-Oshkosh Men For 23rd Time

UW-Oshkosh will run at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship for the second time in three years and 23rd time overall following its at-large selection into an event that the Titans will host this Saturday (Nov. 21) at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne.

The NCAA officially announced its team and individual participants for the championship on Sunday (Nov. 15).

The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the eight regional meets that were held Saturday (Nov. 14), while 16 additional squads were selected at-large.

Fifty-six individuals, the first seven student-athletes from each region who are not a part of a qualifying team, were selected to participate in the championship as well.

UW-Oshkosh earned the right to run on its home course after a strong regular season and a fourth-place finish at Saturday's Midwest Regional in Rock Island, Ill. The Titans scored 147 points in the 38-team Midwest Regional to trail the 54 of first-place UW-Eau Claire, 69 of second-place North Central College (Ill.) and 124 of fourth-place UW-La Crosse.
