KENOSHA, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming and diving team faced off against Carthage College on Friday (Jan. 5). The Titans lost the dual meet by a score of 220-70.

Starting with the 200-medley relay, the Titans finished third in 1:41.63. Swimming in the relay were CJ Willert (So. • Eau Claire), Damen Seremet (So. • Beaver Dam), Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (Fr. • Schaumburg, Ill.), and Drew Davis (Jr. • Bakersfield, Calif.).

Seremet acquired three more top-three finishes as an individual during the meet. He grabbed second in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.49 seconds and third in both the 100-yard freestyle (51.19( and 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.38). Relay partners Ramirez-Gutierrez and Willert also collected two of their own. Ramirez-Gutierrez placed second and third in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly in times of 50.16 seconds and 58.03 seconds, respectively. Willert took 2:15.89 to finish second in the 200-yard breaststroke and 2;21.59 to grab third in the 200-yard IM.

Chase Millam (Sr. • Stoughton) collected second (5:17.16) and third (1,000-yard freestyle) in the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle events. Alex Ward (Fr. • Yorkville, Ill.) was the final Titan to have multiple top-three finishes by taking 1:02.94 to finish second in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:23.21 for second in the 200-yard edition.

Julian Koller (Fr. • Hartland) took second in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:12.98 and Ben Knoeck (Jr. • Cottage Grove) took third in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:37.21.

Knoeck, Ward, Koller and Millam raced to third in the 200-yard freestyle medley in a time of 1:33.87 in the final event of the night.

The Titans return to action on Saturday (Jan. 6), heading up to Lawrence University to face the Vikings at 1:30 a.m.
