Titans Defeated By Green Knights On The Road

DE PERE, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team lost to St. Norbert College in its second nonconference dual of the season by a score of 156-80 on Saturday (Nov. 18) in De Pere.

Damen Seremet (So • Beaver Dam) placed first in two individual events, the 50-yard freestyle (22:56) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.55).

UW-Oshkosh collected two top-three spots in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Luke Giles (Fr. • Oswego, Ill.) took first with a time of 10:47.44 and Chase Millam (Sr. • Stoughton) raced 11:10.16 for third.

Giles and Ben Knoeck (Jr. • Cottage Grove) grabbed second and third in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:10.54 and 5:18.16.

In the 1-meter diving, Dylan Edelstein (Fr. • Manhattan, Ill.) scored 300.45 points for second place.

Four other Titans took third place over the course of the meet. Drew Davis (Jr. • Bakersfield, Calif.) grabbed a 52.36-second time in the 100-yard freestyle, Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez (Fr. • Schaumburg, Ill.) swam a 56.03 in the 100-yard butterfly, CJ Willert (So. • Eau Claire) took 57.35 seconds to finish the 100-yard backstroke and Law Lykins (Fr. • Elijay, Ga.) finished the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.26.

The 200-yard medley and freestyle relay teams finished second, racing to 1:41.72 and 1:32.33 finishes.

The Titans return to action on Nov. 30 for the three-day Carthage College Classic.
