Titans Grab Six First Place Finishes Against Vikings

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Five Titans recorded individual top finishes in a dual meet against Lawrence University as the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's swimming and diving squad fell 112-101 to the Vikings of Lawrence.

In the 200 freestyle, Ben Knoeck led the way with a time of 1:53.70. Chase Millam claimed second place with a time of 1:56.10 in the event and a season best time.  

Damen Seremet led the way in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 21.91 for the Titans. Drew Davis (22.98) and Chase Millam (24.44) joined Seremet in the top-5 of the event.

Seremet claimed the top spot in the 100 breaststroke, leading all competitors with a time of 1:02.85. Seremet's time was a season best and leads the team with that time.

Davis led all swimmers in the 100 freestyle, timing in at 51.59 for first place. Knoeck grabbed runner-up honors in the race with a time of 51.77.

In the 100 backstroke, CJ Willert grabbed a first place finish with a time of 56.70. Willert took runner-up honors in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.45.

Hayden Freeman and Cade Millam competed in the 100 butterfly for the Titans, timing in at 1:00.20 and 1:06.46 respectively. Freeman's time of 1:00.20 is a season best by less than a second.

In the 500 freestyle, Chase Millam led the Titans with a time of 5:42.17. Ethan DeGroot recorded a season best time of 6:05.97 as Freeman also competed in the event, clocking in at 6:58.66 respectively.

DeGroot represented the Titans in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:48.92.

In diving action, Joey Jurva took runner-up honors on the 3-meter boards with a dive score of 175.20.  Jurva recorded a dive score of 169.75 on the 1-meter boards.

Davis, Chase Millam, Knoeck, and Seremet took the top spot in the 200 freestyle relay, clocking in at 1:31.41. In the 200 medley relay, Willert, DeGroot, Freeman, Cade Millam timed in at 1:51.51.

The Titans return to action, hosting UW-Stevens Point on January 13 in Albee Hall.
