Titans Take Second at Gene Davis

APPLETON, Wis.—Coming in second place at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational, the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's swimming and diving program collected numerous top-3 finishes this afternoon.

CJ Willert grabbed a second place finish in the 100 backstroke, timing in at 57.45. Willert led the Titans in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:15.39. In the 200 backstroke, Willert placed inside the top-5 with a time of 2:10.63.

Ben Knoeck took second in the 200 freestyle, timing in at 1:53.89 for a season best.

In the 1-meter diving and 3-meter diving, Joey Jurva took the runner-up position with a score of 326.55 (1-meter) and 321.30 (3-meter).

Damen Seremet took third in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 23.05.

Hayden Freeman competed in the 100 butterfly for the Titans, taking third with a time of 1:00.84. Freeman clocked in at 2:39.23 for the Titans in the 200 butterfly.

Willert, Cade Millam, Seremet, and Drew Davis teamed up for a time of 1:45.97 in the 200-yard medley relay, taking second as a team.

Cade Millam and Chase Millam competed in the 100 breaststroke for the Titans, timing in at 1:09.91 and 1:20.15.

Knoeck, Ethan Almstadt, Davis and (Chase) Millam swam to a runner-up position in the 200 freestyle relay, timing in at 1:33.48. The quad of Titans competed in the 400 freestyle relay, taking third with a time of 3:29.01.

Seremet and Almstadt competed for the Titans in the 100 freestyle, clocking in at 51.86 and 52.57 respectively.

The Titans return to action, hosting St. Norbert College on Nov. 19 in Albee Hall.
