Titans Record Season Best Times
WHITEWATER, Wis.—Several Titans recorded season best times as the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's swimming and diving squad fell 186-78 to the Warhawks of UW-Whitewater.
CJ Willert led the way for all competitors in the 100 backstroke, timing in at 55.98 and a season best time.
Seremet and Chase Millam went 2-3 in the 50 freestyle, with times of 22.84 and 23.98 respectively.
Ethan Almstadt, Andrew Copeland, and Drew Davis went 2-3-4 in the 200 freestyle. Almstadt led the way with the runner-up finish at 1:56.01. Copeland timed in at 2:00.28 with Davis clocking in at 2:00.34. Almstadt and Davis recorded season best times in the race.
Leading the Titans in the 100 butterfly, Copeland swam a 1:00.58.
Ben Knoeck took home third place in the 100 freestyle, swimming a 52.90.
Willert claimed second in the 200 backstroke, timing in at 2:11.60. Willert took second in the 200 IM, swimming a 2:13.29.
Cade Millam competed in the 100 breaststroke for the Titans, recording a time of 1:10.95. Millam raced in the 200 breaststroke for the Titans with a time of 2:34.92.
Joey Jurva was the lone competitor for the Titans in the 1-meter diving, scoring 186.95. Jurva recorded a score of 183.75 on the 3-meter boards.
Taking runner-up honors in the 200 Medley Relay, Willert, (Cade) Millam, Andrew Copeland, and Seremet swam a 1:44.39. Seremet, Knoeck, Almstadt, and (Chase) Millam swam a 1:34.06 in the 200 freestyle relay for second place.
(Chase) Millam swam a time of 11:59.05 in the 1000 freestyle.
Seremet raced in the 500 freestyle for the Titans, swimming a 5:40.98 in the event.
The Titans are set to take to the pool at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational on Nov. 12.
