Seven Titans Earn First Place Finishes for Men's Swim and Dive
WAUKESHA, Wis.—Seven Titans grabbed first place finishes at the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's swimming and diving program defeated Carroll University, 128-56.
Damen Seremet and Drew Davis went 1-2 in the 50 freestyle, collecting in at 22.68 and 23.89.
In the 200 freestyle, Ben Knoeck and Ethan Almstadt went 1-2 with times of 1:56.01 and 1:56.34 respectively. Knoeck and Almstadt repeated the 1-2 finish in the 100 freestyle, with times of 52.27 and 52.74.
Luke Hanlon grabbed the top spot in the 200 IM, timing in at 2:07.12. Hanlon was joined by CJ Willert, who swam a 2:115.20 for second place.
In the 100 breaststroke, Hanlon led all swimmers with a time of 1:01.46.
Leading the Titans in the 100 butterfly, Andrew Copeland clocked in at 1:00.61 for first place.
Willert swam to the top spot in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.21 as fellow Titan Chase Millam finished in second place at 1:10.52.
Cade Millam swam to a final time of 19:24.77 in the 1650 freestyle, collecting runner-up honors in the process. Hayden Freeman competed in the event as well, timing in at 26:12.48.
Davis swam to a second place finish in the 500 freestyle, clocking in at 5:24.55.
The Titan men took top honors in the 400 medley relay, timing in at 3:48.13. The Titans men took home the top spot in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:26.02.
The Titans return to action on Nov. 5 as they travel to UW-Whitewater.
