Conner Clark won three events and both Drew Davis and Alex Jernberg one apiece during UW-Oshkosh's 140-112 loss to the UW-Whitewater men's swimming & diving team Saturday (Nov. 6) in Albee Hall.

Clark swam to winning times of 55.16 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly, 2:05.97 in the 200-yard butterfly and 2:08.48 in the 200-yard individual medley. He also swam with Davis, Jernberg and Robert Thomasberg for a second-place time of 1:45.35 in the 200-yard medley relay.

Davis earned the fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle with his performance of 23.46 seconds. He also helped Thomasberg, Andrew Copeland and Chase Millam register a second-place time of 1:31.94 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Jernberg was the winner in the 1,000-yard freestyle with his time of 10:48.92. He additionally placed second in both the 100-yard breaststroke and 500-yard freestyle with times of 1:03.68 and 5:06.85, respectively.

Thomasberg also contributed a pair of second-place individual finishes with his times of 2:15.54 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 11:04.60 in the 1,000-yard freestyle.

The Titans also had Cade Millam and Chase Millam record second-place finishes with their times of 2:37.36 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 1:53.38 in the 200-yard freestyle, respectively.

UW-Oshkosh's Matt Holst finished third in a pair of events, the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.10 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a swim of 2:50.19.

Other Titans marking third-place listings were Copeland in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.00 seconds, Cody Else in the 1,000-yard freestyle with an effort of 11:12.98, Ben Knoeck in the 200-yard freestyle with a swim of 1:57.48 and Chase Millam in the 100-yard freestyle with a performance of 51.64 seconds.

The Titans' quartet of Else, Knoeck, Cade Millam and Hayden Freeman finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:40.94.

UW-Oshkosh will compete at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational next Saturday (Nov. 13) in Appleton. Participants from Beloit College, Ripon College and St. Norbert College are expected to join contestants from UW-Oshkosh and the host Vikings in the meet.
