Wilke Chosen As WIAC Diver Of The Week
The WIAC named UW-Oshkosh's Matt Wilke as its Men's Diver of the Week for events held Oct. 9-15.
Wilke captured first place in both diving categories as UW-Oshkosh began its 2017-18 season with a 170-56 home setback to UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 14.
Wilke, competing in his first collegiate meet, scored 289.60 points off the 1-meter board and 259.90 points off the 3-meter plank. Dylan Glumac of UW-Eau Claire finished second to Wilke in the 1-meter diving with a score of 288.45 while the Blugolds' Noah Krantz was the runner-up to Wilke in the 3-meter diving with a score of 181.55.
UW-Eau Claire's Dayton Miller was selected as the WIAC's Men's Swimmer of the Week.
