Jon Stopple tied the score with a 15-yard kick before assisting on Caleb Rindfleisch's go-ahead goal from 10 yards out. The goals were the sixth for Stopple and the second for Rindflesich on the season.

UW-Platteville's first lead of the match held for just a brief time as UW-Oshkosh's Javier Simon tied the score in the 34th minute (33:14). Simon converted a 10-yard shot after collecting a corner kick launched by Jacob Hernandez. The goal was Simon's fourth of the year.

The teams exchanged numerous possessions during the final seven minutes but were unable to get off a shot.
