The decisive score came on a penalty kick by the Tommies' Miles Stockman-Willis during the fourth minute (93:38) of overtime. A UW-Oshkosh foul inside the 18-yard penalty box allowed Stockman-Willis the opportunity to go after his fifth goal of the season.

UW-Oshkosh (7-5-1) held a consistent shot advantage during regulation. The Titans owned six of the eight shots in the first half and four of the six shots in the second. The University of St. Thomas (8-4) attempted the only shot of overtime.

UW-Oshkosh's 10 shots featured two from Javier Simon. The remaining eight shots belonged to eight different players. Simon, Nick Gonzales and Jacob Hernandez combined for the Titans' three shots on goal.
