Borski Receives CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors

UW-Oshkosh's Jack Borski (Sr. • Madison) has been named to the 2010 ESPN Academic All-America College Division Men's Soccer Second Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The team is made up of NCAA Division II and III schools, along with NAIA schools and Borski was one of 10 individuals named to the second team.

Borski was third team honoree a year ago and is the first person in program history to be named CoSIDA Academic All-America multiple times. He carries a 3.82 grade point average and is majoring in geology.

A starter in the Titans' last 59 matches, Borski is the first UW-Oshkosh player to receive All-American honors since 2003. His defense helped the Titans record 18 shutouts, the highest total in the country. UW-Oshkosh also posted a 0.36 goals against average to rank third in the NCAA Division III.

Borski compiled one assist this season during a 1-0 victory over The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.). In 2009, he totaled one goal (game-winner) and three assists for five points. His freshman and sophomore campaigns included a total of seven assists. A starter in 72 of his 73 career games, Borski finished with one goal and 11 assists for 13 points.
