Titans Fall Short In Bid For WIAC Title

Luke Buchholz' header off of a teammate's miss lifted the UW-Whitewater men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over UW-Oshkosh Titans on Saturday (Nov. 7) at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

Buchholz' goal, his WIAC-leading 12th of the season, came at 55:46 mark of the match. It came when teammate Luke Mangognia's header bounced off UW-Oshkosh goalkeeper James Pike. Buchholz then rebounded the miss for the only goal of the game.
