Juckem Registers 200th Coaching Victory

UW-Oshkosh head men's basketball coach Pat Juckem won his 200th career game as he guided the Titans to a 73-57 victory over Ramapo College (N.J.) during the semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Championship on Friday (March 16) in Salem, Va.

Juckem owns a combined 200-151 record in 13 seasons as head coach, leading UW-Oshkosh to a 95-72 mark over the past six years since departing Coe College (Iowa) with a 105-79 mark from 2006-12.

Juckem will attempt to win his 201st career game when UW-Oshkosh (25-7) plays Nebraska Wesleyan University (29-3) for the Division III title Saturday (March 17) in Salem.

Juckem, who led UW-Oshkosh past the Division III quarterfinal round for the first time in program history, has guided the Titans to three consecutive trips to the NCAA postseason. The Titans previously made three straight NCAA appearances just once (1996-98) prior to Juckem's arrival.

Juckem's Titans clinched the 2016 WIAC tournament title, marking the program's third league postseason championship and first since back-to-back titles in 2002-03. Under Juckem, the Titans have finished among the top three teams in the conference standings for three straight seasons for the first time since 1966-68.

Juckem coached Coe College to the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title in 2012 for the school's first league championship in 30 years. His 105 victories rank second in Coe College's 113-year history.

Juckem was also an assistant men's basketball and football coach at Lawrence University from 1999-2005 and the head boys basketball coach at Manitowoc Roncalli High School from 1996-99.

The Chilton native earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Lawrence University in 1995.
