Patt Named To NABC Honors Court

UW-Oshkosh sophomore guard Michael Patt is among a record 894 student-athletes from 338 colleges and universities earning mention on the National Association of Basketball Coaches' 2013-14 Honors Court.

The Honors Court recognizes men who excelled academically during the most recently completed basketball season. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior in academic standing and possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Patt, who owns a 3.66 cumulative grade point average as a biochemistry major, appeared in 12 games this past season and averaged 2.4 points per contest. He totaled 29 points and five rebounds while converting 8-of-22 three-point shots. Patt scored a career-high 13 points during UW-Oshkosh's 73-57 loss to Clarke University (Iowa) on Nov. 24. 

Other Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference basketball players named to the 2013-14 Honors Court were Eric Effertz, Kurtis Moody and Cavan Stackpool from UW-Eau Claire, Trent Schmidt, Joe Sokovich, Luke Tweed and Aaron Ziman from UW-La Crosse, Kyle Kittel and Zach Smith from UW-River Falls and Tyler Forsythe, Clayton Heuer, Jordan Lutz, Alex Richard, Joe Ritchay and Austin Ryf from UW-Stevens Point.
