Marsh Named WIAC Player Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh forward D.J. Marsh (Sr. • Bayside) has been selected the WIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season and sixth time overall. Marsh received his latest award for games played Feb. 8-14.

Marsh averaged 26 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest as UW-Oshkosh lost 68-65 to UW-La Crosse on Feb. 10 and posted a 68-61 victory over UW-Superior on Feb. 13.

Marsh totaled 52 points in the two games to move into 21st place on the WIAC's all-time scoring list with 1,746 career points. He also compiled nine rebounds, nine assists and five steals while shooting 50 percent (18-36) from the field and 82.4 percent (17-24) from the free-throw line.

In UW-Oshkosh's road loss to UW-La Crosse, Marsh scored 22 points, dished off five assists and grabbed three rebounds in 39 minutes of action.

During the Titans' home win over UW-Superior, Marsh tallied 30 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists. He scored 24 of his points in the second half as UW-Oshkosh rallied from a 31-28 deficit at intermission.
