Marsh Receives WIAC Player Of The Week Award

UW-Oshkosh forward D.J. Marsh (Sr. • Bayside) has been selected the WIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season and fifth time overall. Marsh received his latest award for games played Jan. 11-17.

Marsh averaged 29.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest as UW-Oshkosh lost a 62-58 overtime decision to nationally ranked UW-Whitewater on Jan. 13 and tallied an 87-75 victory over UW-Stout on Jan. 16.

Marsh totaled 59 points on 24-of-41 shooting (58.5 percent) from the field and 10-of-12 shooting (83.3 percent) from the free-throw line. He also collected 21 rebounds, counted four steals, blocked three shots and dished off three assists.

In UW-Oshkosh's road loss to UW-Whitewater, Marsh scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, blocked two shots and dished off two assists. The double-double was Marsh's third of the season.

During the Titans' home win over UW-Stout, Marsh scored 33 points, snatched nine rebounds and tallied three steals. The contest marked Marsh's third 30-point performance of the season.
