As a player, Wara's journey through college football was nothing short of extraordinary. From 2009 to 2012, he was the driving force behind UW-Oshkosh's success, earning the prestigious title of NCAA DIII National Player of the Year. His on-field prowess and leadership qualities set a benchmark for excellence in the world of college football.

Transitioning seamlessly from player to coach, Wara began his coaching career at his alma mater, UW-Oshkosh, in 2013. As the Quarterbacks Coach for the Titans, he brought a unique perspective to the position, imparting his invaluable knowledge and experience to the next generation of quarterbacks.

From there, Wara embarked on a journey to further enrich his coaching repertoire. For seven years, from 2015 to 2021, he served as a Varsity Assistant at Fond du Lac High School. During this time, his coaching talents extended across various positions, including quarterbacks, running backs, outside linebackers, defensive backs, and special teams. His versatility and ability to mentor players in multiple facets of the game showcased his dedication to player development and success.

In 2022, Wara made a triumphant return to UW-Oshkosh, this time as the Tight Ends and Fullbacks Coach. His commitment to the Titans' football program and his expertise in developing well-rounded players continue to be instrumental in the team's growth and success.
